With my Eagle/linux box I could watch what was on the sat receiver (and control the box by a virtual remote) on my PC..attached to the same network. Is this possible with the Spiderbox which is connected to the router by LAN cable (via Powerlines)?
thanks for reading

in simple terms , no

you need a linux box like a VU or similar to watch on a pc (or phone or tablet)

ideally a vu duo2 , solo2 or duo

in complicated terms (dont ask me how), you would need a slingbox or something similar

thanks Echelon...can still use the old Eagle.. but no HD of course.

that is why you need a vu solo 2 or duo 2 or maybe a similar vu , HD and streaming , so an improved version of your old eagle linux box
