TV + Sound Bar

I think of buying a new 40ins Tv with catch up+ Sound bar what would you recommend I hope you can help

bought a samsung UE40F7000, awsome bit of kit. Grt Pq and Apps.
Looking at getting a sound bar for some time.
For value for money and sound quality Cambridge audio minx is high up there but for sound quality the canton DM50 is unsurpassed. I'm just waiting for the price to drop and go for the Canton

they probably do a smaller version but I bought this 47 inch sony smart tv with LG screen

I did use a soundbar on the old sony but not found it necessary on this new sony

otherwise I would stick to the main players

Sony, Samsung , LG and Panasonic , possibly one or two others like Toshiba or Sharp if they still do them , but normally the big 4 above
