S4000 ERR: 0 x04 on boot

Folks, Was trying to do an update to my box and get this as soon as I boot. ART not connecting. Is it bricked?

OK, it's not bricked. At least not entirely. If I wait around 2 hours I can connect (sometimes) through ART. I can force a boot from this point. I have a couple of problems though.

1. If I boot into the standard image plugins don't seem to launch. I have tried formatting the user area and reinstalling but HDF Flasher does not launch. Added to my pain is that an install of a plugin results in a reboot and I need to wait 2 hours.

2. I cannot flash from USB directly. Powering on while pressing Channel up has never worked for me, no idea why.

3. When trying to load recovery image etc from ART it doesn't seem to upload the image anymore. I suspect a network issue, network port is solid orange on the receiver when am connected with ART.

4. Strangely, when connected through ART I do not have the option to change reseller. A bit annoying as I want to try Titannit for it.

Can anyone give me any pointers about how to recover? If this ends with me on Titannit then that would be super.
