Hi I am having trouble with my remote controller,I have a spiderbox hd 9000 with a remote.Is it possible to reprogram it to work with the spiderbox HD 6000. If not can I puchase a new remote.

Thanks for the reply.I have tried Goldwafers.Com,but they don't list one,I have also had a look on **** they list them but it looks the same as the HD 9000 remote. Any help where to purchase a new HD 6000 Remote.

only where you say you looked (not goldwafers afaik)

the 9000 and 7000 remote does not work with a 6000 , the fact they look the same is irrelevant as its the IR codes that matter and you definitely cannot tell which code book they use

the 6000 remote has HD6000 at the bottom of it, the 9000 remote just says spiderbox at the bottom

The 9000 and 6000 remotes don't look the same. Well apart from the fact that they are both black lol. The yellow buttons are not in the same position for a start. Anyway, £15 on 'E'. Of course you could always buy one from Goldwafers for £58 and they would give you a new 6000 box with it.

@ jonah,dont know what problem you had with your remote,but i done a factory settings restore earlier and my remotes failed to work after,i used the menu button on the stb and the remote started to work partually but after setting all my sat settings up again both remotes work fine now,just a thought buddy incase yours was the same problem.
