I'm sure it does, but why would anyone pay £50 to get something you already have on satellite or on your TV or on an add on Freeview HD tuner ?

You can use it for cable HD channels - now that is a completely different matter!

my thoughts were in order to record in HD as well as watch , that is the only other reason I can think of, as its done daily on my sly plus HD box , lol

but I do agree that freeview HD can be watched using a modern tv with freeview HD tuner built in , because my new Sony had it built in , plus it also has a freesat tuner and a cable tuner also built in, wifi built in, frankly they like to put everything in , lol ;)

but a good question and may help others in future as I didnt know either, but thanks to coke I do now
