I have searched around but cant find the answer so hence my post.
Can I safely load my self created HD 6000 channel list to my friends new HD 6000 box without causing any problems. I realise that no other data from my box should be transferred. Just want an opinion if that's OK
Many thanks
Yes you could, because basically it would just be like transferring the list from one receiver in your living room to the other in your bedroom.

Many thanks Aldo I just didn't want to mess his box up and was prepared to input channels in individually for him but this will save me loads of hassle.
So once again. Many thanks for your information.
The only thing that you would then have to do is store the Sat Positions on his receiver, using Diseq or USAL'S.

if he has a channel list in his box, back it up first , and take a note of any settings like usals etc

No Echelon its a brand new receiver straight from the box so that shouldn't be a problem but I take your point for future reference.
