edison optimus underline with icecrypt s1600 firmware

i have just brought the edison optimus underline box but cant seem to find firmware thats not official like the icecrypt,
so was wondering if its possible to use the icecrypt firmware?s1600

I dont think so and its not wise to even try it..
The Edison might be similar to some of the Icecrypt models and it might even use the same Ali chipset but it will definitely be a different ID.
There are protection to stop cross loading of FW's and you might brick your Edison if you try loading Icecrypt FW.

thanks for reply ice,i cancelled the order for the boxes couldnt find much on the firmware front so will stick to the icecrypt s1600

what about the galaxy innovations sat box or the amiko mini hd boxes as i see thier being used for the intel 907 channels?
do you have any knowledge of these?
