re scanning ?

hi all been using spiderbox 6000hd with multi sats channel list(from this site)but have lost a lot of channels missing on 28.2E how can/would i rescan them and then add to channel list with rest of multi sats ? i am new to spiderbox 6000hd not got a clue many thanks for any input n help spider69

before using anyones channel list...always back up your own first
yes you can rescan 28east
go to menu..select satalite...select 28 east
now scan...and all your channels should now return
and no...you will not lose the channel list you have installed
just rescanning a single sat...will bring all missing channels on that sat back
then do a backup on memory stick etc...this will save to list

when saving any new channels to an exisiting list...i have found its easier to just add to any exisiting fav list you have for 28east

You must have reached max channels allowed (6000 only) on a 6000HD.
Either get rid of some rubbish you don't watch, start scanning from scratch with only YOUR viewable Sats, or load someone elses premade channel list.

the limit on spider 6000hd for channels is 6000
i have just factory reset my box and scanned in the 4 sats that i use
i only scanned for tv no radio and total of all 4 sats is 4102 channels
the sats are 28east,19east.13east and thor 0.8w
after i have got rid of what i see has rubbish...i will be making a channel list for these 4 satalites
ps. remember after a factory reset...you need to turn up sound on box..using box remote
like alot of boxs sound on spider comes in low as default

hi ya all load new channel list File Type: zip Spiderbox HD6000 Channel List 02-08-14.zip. but box looks like it been wiped clean no channel list no favs what have i done wrong is it an easy to fix really need sum help now thanks for any input n help fella's

Channel List 02-08-14.zip

Your channel list should read Channel List 02-08-14.ssu and not .zip, have you unzipped the file from the zip folder before loading it onto your USB Stick then onto the receiver.

I think you are missing some important reading , Have you read and followed any of the Setup Guide? >https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?162474-Setup-Guide-for-Spiderbox-6000HD

You also have the option to load a premade channel list, look in the channel list section:

Load the Unzipped ssu channel list onto a USB stick and plug it to the USB port on the spider.

Then :Menu-><or> to System Settings->select Software update->OK->select the first option S/W Upgrade->On the next screen go down to highlight the ROOT and then right to the box on the right where you should see the list of files on the stick , select the ch list and press OK, confirm changes when asked.

That is because your Browser is making the channel list a .zip file and NOT an .ssu file, which it needs to be so that you can load it to the receiver, which is why you have not yet loaded any channel list to your receiver, if you are using internet explorer try using Firefox instead, then you will be able to load the channel list that you have been trying to do.

Which patch is installed? (System Settings/System Info) Is the patch turned on with 1111 and have you 11 options in the 'Others' menu?

Suggest you try loading the latest patch if you expect ALL options to be there and work, latest SW Version is 01.17, please keep up with updates.

Could you still receive the IPTV Channels when your IKS channels had expired, or is that why you are using CCCam.

IKS lasts 12 months.
Existing IPTV content duration : unknown
