Motor and fixed dish

When I was using my Humax 5400 I had a motorised setup but also a fixed dish for one satellite, Hispasat, that was blocked by trees. This worked perfectly as when I selected a channel on 30w, instead of moving the motor, the Humax would switch to my diseqc switch and 30w would be on the screen.

I have been using my VU+ Uno now for a while but have not been using the diseqc switch, just the motor, but now I want to use the switch as well as the motor, like I did with the Humax.

Is possable to do this with the VU+ Uno? And if so, can anyone tell me how to do it as I can't seem to work it out.

I haven't got a Uno but on the duo or solo 2 you have to use advanced tuner setup, put the fixed dish on lnb 1 diseqc 1 and the motor on lnb 2 diseqc 1.2 put in your longitude and latitude and set up usals you the have to select each satellite you want and select lnb 2 hopefully that will do the trick.

I would think so, give it a try but out of interest why would you want to use another?

As I said I don't know if you have advanced tuner settings on the uno.

It does, I have it working with that kind of setup.

Digihoe, did you have to use LNB 1 just because I think it was set up as LNB 18 on my humax.

Use LNB1 for the Motor and LNB2 for the Fixed dish or the other way around as suggested use the advanced tuner settings and set all your satellites with the motor to LNB1 enter your Lon/Lat if using USALS if using Diseqc 1.2 then enter the corresponding number, when you arrive at 30° West just select LNB2
