can you run 2 services on a mag254 and switch between 1 and the other thanks for any help

Yes you can, at boot up you will be given a choice as to which provider you want to use. But you can't use both providers at the same time.
The device only allows for a maximum of 2 providers at any one time so if you want more you will have to delete one of the two already installed
