Changing channels from one to another channel the screen picture remains the same,
so if I carry on changing channels and if I cannot find a free channel the screen picture does not change.
I have restored to factory setting but it has not changed.
I hope this makes sense.
Please can someone Help.
Thanks

What image are you running?
Do you get the info bar, telling you the channel name, and now/next guide?

i would say it's a image problem and if it's some time
since you changed your present image then going for the latest update image will give you all the latest drivers, features etc: dont forget to upload your channel list, config file. settings file from the box to your computer before you flash a new image then
you will have all the files to reload and get the box up and running again very quickly and wont need to re-set up all your personnel settings over again in the box menu

if ive read it correct you get a frozen image of the channel that cleared until you get too another channel that clears,so if you goto a few channels that are encrypted frozen image still shows.
only see this via webif on last 3 receivers, but if i got to tv it would be a black screen.

Yes I get frozen images when changing channels, until I find a free channel.
You are right it is one of the things I did and one of them was messing about with the webif and the recording light was on but not recording, but it OK now.
so do you think I can delete the webif or is it gong to cause a problem ?.
.
I would like to Thank you all for helping me.

I agree the webif should not cause a problem, but it was one of the things I did when I was messing around with before it all went wrong.
Thanks for your Help.
