True marwan, but there WAS a key change 27/9/14 anyway too!

I have still lost Bulsat. Have updated box using h*cksat key downloader as I have for the last year or so but still no picture.
Is there a way to enter keys manually on vu+ uno?
Not sure what I could have done with settings to have messed this up.

Hi pixey, this is what I do on my Vu+ Solo 2. Hope it's not too basic teaching grandma sucking eggs, etc!
Open DCC. Go to usr, keys, SoftCam.key and hit right mouse button to highlight edit then left mouse button to open SoftCam. Check to see what keys you have in Irdeto 2 Bulsat section 02,03,04 and 06. Cut then copy and paste new keys from your source. Holmroad mentioned new keys from 27/09 so you need those. Good luck and

Gibson, how do I get to USR? I have connected DCC to VU box, thought it might be through FTP, but all I see in the box is FTP component not ready?

It is through FTP. Have you entered your box's IP address under "dreambox".

Hi. yes it is connected okay as it says ftp connected and telnet connected but when I click ftp on the bottom left, the right hand window is occupied with the laptop contents but the left hand window is empty and if I click refresh in the txt box at the bottom it says ftp component not ready?

Hi pixey, my understanding is the left hand window shows what you have loaded onto your set top box. i.e. your image, download contents e.g. cams, keys, softcam, etc. Maybe an idea to let us know what you have on your setup re: image and whatever else you have stored.

Hi. I am using the latest black pole image and am using mgcamd if that is any help. VuCC connects okay and the FTP program on that displays correctly but I don't know how to manually edit the keys.

I have downloaded a softcam key file called @Informed® DVB Softcam Keys_27-09-2014.zip, extracted the softcam.key from it, checked that the 06 line matches up with the keys posted on this site, ftp ed it to the usr/keys folder, restarted the cam (blue button) but still the channels won't clear.

Is there a setting that I may have changed by mistake in the mgcamd-1.38 or something else that is causing this problem?

I have just downloaded and re-installed mgcamd-1.38 and it is now clearing bulsat. I don't have a clue what happened but I am happy that is working.
