I have the latest VIX 041 image running on Vusolo2 but have had problems with Tsmedia updates for about 3 months now, most nothing works.
I like the Vix image but I like Tsmedia too....:)

So, thinking of changing to Black Hole. Is the latest Tsmedia 7.91 working with Black Hole at the moment ?

Thanks
T.

Which version of MTmedia are you using? If it's 7.8 delete it a load the 7.2 version thats is the plugins. I haven't tried 7.91 yet so can't comment on it, but 7.2 works ok.

Hi Satcat, thanks, have 7,91 but will try 7,2.

Do you know if this is a compatibility issue with the VIX image ?
Are there similar problems with other images or is it just the Vix image ?

thanks

@Thirsty. I have the same setup as you, Solo2 /vix041, and I find 7.2 works OK. Not everything works, but most do.

I'm having problems with TSMedia updates on Openvix (currently 041). As others have said 7.2 works fine on Vix 041 but I have tried to update to 7.9.1 both through the TSmedia menu and also via telnet and it never finishes the update, leaving a bit of 7.2 and what I assume to be things like the 7.9.1 icons.

I have just udated through 7.2 menu to 7.91 and all seems OK. It has different icons and says "TSMEDIA 7.91" at the bottom.

I have 7.91 as well, but compared to previous versions, the % of working links is abysmal.
Los Movies for example, hasnt worked for me at all, for about 2 months; but its still included in the update.

I have only tried it with the VIX image and was wondering if it might work better with another image; Black hole perhaps ?

Thanks
T.

Have found out in the meantime that the same problems occur with Black hole as with VIX 041.
