Hi all
I'me contemplating getting one of these boxes in the next couple of weeks. My query is that the main talk about the image on the box is BH but I presume it takes all others. I have at the moment five different boxes one of which is a VU clone I did have the Vix image on it but have now moved to PLi. I quite liked the Vix image so my question is why is the BH preferred over the Vix or is it purely the popular choice if so why??

Thanks in advance for any replies

Bh is just the first image I put on, found it has everything I need already built in, tuner server, epg etc etc, I use near enough most of the addons which come with it. Just made my life easier when updating. Everyone has their own personal preference.

The Black Hole image seems to be designed for the VU+ receiver, and it does have a lot of support.
I have read of a few people having problems, with the latest Black Hole, and clone receivers.
Personally I just like the advanced options, in Black Hole, from turning off the info bar, between programs, to changing the fast forward speed, on recordings, and numerous other options, but as you state it's basically a matter of choice, and maybe drivers, as the Solo SE is quite new.

I've only ever used BH.... I just stick to what I know and I've always found support from other members who are familiar with BH

I played with a few images and settled with BH as is was more stable in earlier days, is does all that's needed.
Updates used to be quite fast but there are very few now, but that is probably down to not a lot to fix.
