hi guys' just got myself a spiderbox hd 6000 after having a skybox f5s for a while but fancied a change' first impressions of the spiderbox hd6000' not a bad little box for £60 picture quality seems a lot better than the f5s to me' currently only setup on a fixed zone 2 dish @ 28.2E not got iks on at the moment seems pointless not having a motor setup:( hd channels seem a lot sharper' finding it hard at the moment getting around with the channels on the box having to press sat key & not favs button like on the skybox' got the latest compass list installed on the box which is great work from him many thanks for that' the f5s was so easy with favs etc but them boxes are more towards 28.2E than anything' so was it a good move lol' feel free to post some comments many thanks.

yes spider 6000 is an excellant box
to get the best out of it...yes you need on a motor
but on fixed dish still very good box...and with iptv
the iptv lists are upgradable by going to menu...system...software update
on software update...select upgrade by network
you will then get a choice of 4 lists...delete the list thats on then select list 1,2 3 or 4..click confirm...
box will put on that list, after it has asked you if you want to upgrade file...it will then reboot box
go back to iptv...and your iptv list should be different...
beaware that some times when you try upgrade...you will see a message saying...busy...
its when new stuff is been added...enjoy your box

You can upload your lines via USB stick if you wish too.
All you need to do is to create a file called yourname.cnd in the notepad and drop your lines in there then upload to your box.
Sample file attached (with a dummy N and C line) to save you looking all over the place for it. Just replace the dummy lines wih your own save to your memory stick and load to your box. (Menu->System settings->Software Update->OK->S/W Upgrade->OK->Down to root and right to the list of files-> select your file and OK ->Confirm when asked. Done
If your port number on the line is less than 5 digits use 0's before the number ie. its 601 use 00601

Sorry I have no idea. If its not in the channel list section you will need to make your own. I dont view 28E (apart from the freebies)and my list is in quite a state atm anyway. Haven't touched the thing for months now :blush5:
Use a channel editor from: https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?167861-6000-Channel-Editor-2-1-1-29-06-14&p=910342#post910342
Very easy to use and you can sort the channels the way you like.

It's amazing what you can find when you learn to read the forum, you have been a member for over 3 and 1/2 years with 3 posts, the latest is posted here:
