hi guys' what other 1080p video files does the hd 6000 movie player support' only tried a yify 1080p mp4 and that played flawless but i had to change from pal to ntsc in menu settings because it would judder with fps being 23.976 on the file.many thanks

I have just plugged in my wd usb 1tb drive...and tried some of my many films
mp4...avi..mkv..web download..some are 720 blu ray...some 1080 blu ray..
everything i am throwing at it is playing faultlessly
i am glad deano asked this question...i usually play my films direct through tv (usb)
in my honest oppion...the films seem even better quality through my spider...lol

yes that is true extrafacto' the picture quality is great playing from the spider i noticed it myself last night' the only issue i have with my spider is if im watching sd channels' they look really blocky and pixelated even on iptv not sure why' but hd channels look fine' my dish is setup bang on at 28.2' i bought the unit of ******* for £62 with postage' can't be a clone can it lol.

Maybe you should have used a reliable vendor, like the forum sponsors: https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Spiderbox/, and you would not have had any fears of purchasing a clone, if it is what you have at present.

Strange that the HD channels are ok but not SD. What are your Signal and Quality readings on your pixelating channels?

Is there anyway of telling if it is a clone or not Aldo the stb itself is only small' the USB port on the front seems a bit iffy not sitting correctly kinda off to the left a bit thanks

Signal level is 78 and Quality is 70 mate

on 28east i get signal 82...quality 78
but if you look at individual channels.you may see a drop...in quality...but that is not the spider doing that
that is the signal the program is been sent out at
what is pixalation...lol
box connected directly to router by ethernet lead...hdmi connected to tv

Thanks, those signals should be fine, might be worth trying another LNB first. If same I would try have a word with your supplier.

the only thing i can put it down to is my tv' even when i had a skybox f5s the sd picture quality looked pixelated & blocky worse on sd movie channels but hd was fine' my zone 2 dish has a brand new zinwell mk4 quad on it with the skyhd running off it upstairs and my spider downstairs.many thanks

i could always borrow my bro's new 50" led sony bravia tv' i wish lol gonna take spider round his later and try it on his new tv set then i should see a difference hopefully' the upscaler in my tv is rubbish' its a sharp 40" led edge lit backlight tv from argos
