afternoon guys' im wanting to use my zone 2 dish on another sat but i know this dish is only capable of picking up certain sats due to its size 60cm i think' which is the best one to go for' im hoping to fit a zone 1 just for 28.2 for my sky+hd box.cheers

in my opion based on size of your dish...13east or 19east
personally between the 2 my choice would be 13east good mixture of channels...whose audio can be changed by selecting audio button on remote
i am assuming you are in uk

thanks extrafacto' yes im in the north east of england mate' i did have a inverto multi lnb bracket attached to my zone 2 at 28.2e with a offset lnb on the right for 19.2e which worked ok' just wish i could do that for 13e also but i think i would be pushing the boat out a bit.

You can get 13E and 19.2E, on your second dish, either using 2 LNB's or a 6 degree monoblock, this should provide plenty of viewing options.

i tried with my zone 2 at 19.2e as the main focus and used another lnb to the right of it for hotbird but some tp's were really weak & did not come in at all' i found some

Focal point 13 and lnb bracket for 19 would be better

An astra 1 and Hotbird (13+19') dish with a dual feed lnb gives a lot of choice with a spiderbox, lots of everything, a 60cm would do but that far north but an 80cm would give good wet weather leeway.

Weather is a main factor I agree with TonyO 80cm is best bet as I have 2 here in Scotland on motorized though. But both pick up all the channels on 19e and 13e no problem in all weather conditions.

as you look from behind the dish then 19° east would be on your right hand side

Think it's the opposite digicon hehe as you look at the dish it will be right hand side m8

If it was me m8 I would buy a mono block that way there's no way you would miss the satellite when you get 13e lined up.

If you have a fixed dish and don't mind fiddling with the lnb a bit a Octagon 0.1dB Flex Feed 4-15 Degree LNB is a good option, it is adjustable from 4 degrees separation to 15 degrees just by a couple of screws, it would need a separate diseq switch though.

With an 80cm fixed dish pointing at 13e the lnb will reach any sat up to 1w one way, and if you swivel the lnb through 180 degrees (upside down to the other side) you could pick up any sat up to 28E, I've only done this in good weather so I don't know what the winter weather does to the performance.

I don't know if the sponcor sells them , if not tap the name into google and you'll easy get one.

obviously multi lnb is the way to go if poss but if I had to take just one of 19.2 and 13.0e then it would be 19.2 at mom as there have been some issues with a very large italian service recently whereas not the case with its german equivalent .
