Spiderbox 6000hd No Network

I have bought a new Spiderbox 6000HD, loaded the latest firmware and downloaded a channel list as per instructions.
I can not seem to get an internet connection on my box?
I have tried Wired and Wireless but the box is not finding anything, I have other devices connected so know connections are OK and rebooted router etc but nothing?
Can anyone point me in the right direction please.

They are the actual instructions I have followed.
The Green and yellow lights are flashing on the back on the box where the LAN cable goes in, but box keeps saying setting failed on Auto wired and wireless.
Just tried to enter IP manually and same result, I think I probally got a faulty box.

im having similar issues with the box dropping the internet connection every now and then......if i take the ethernet cable out and plug it in again it comes back on,,,i have tried differant patch leads to rule out a cable problem, and the problem remains,,apart from that it works fine..

You did not mention if you put the earlier patch (Aug 13) on first before the most recent?

defo try what cannydo said' i made the mistake of thinking that as soon as i got my box and put the latest patch on without putting 30/8/2013 first' seems a lot stable now than before' thanks to (cannydo & echelon) thanks guys:king-041:
