Solo2 reading Viaccess cards

Ok, be gentle with me because I have just got my head around Cccam configurations and managed to activate my clines using a Vix image. Now I borrowed a couple of official Viaccess 'biology' cards :p to try out on the solo2 and I am having no success. Is CCcam + lines conflicting with these cards? I have read somewhere that I need Oscam. Would Oscam conflict with CCcam.

The cards are Husteler HD + other channels and Spice + other channels.

How do I configure the Solo2 to read these cards? Is it going to be complicated to set up? I know it's a learning curve and I have spent hours reading stuff on Oscam that went straight over my head.

This is my aim:
1. continue to enjoy my clines using CCam.
2.Ability to insert official cards to clear channels as in example above as well.

Try adding these two lines to your CCcam.cfg file

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci0 3570000
SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci1 3570000

Then restart CCcam from the Blue Panel.

SMARTCARD CLOCK FREQUENCY: /dev/sci1 3570000

Then restart CCcam from the Blue Panel.

So I open my CCcam.cfg file on notepad then I add the two lines above as they are? In Capitals? then ftp it back to the Solo2?

Do I insert them before my c-lines or after or doesn't it matter?

Open CCcam.cfg in Notepad++ then paste in the two lines above, save and FTP back to the /etc folder then restart CCcam.

You could also use the right mouse click option, on the CCcam.cfg file, located in the Var folder, etc sub folder, then select the View/Edit option, add the 2 lines, and click the file tab and save option.
