Hello Folks. Am trying to load a line beginning with N to a spider 6000. I have loaded it fine as cccam (from the same 2 sticks) to Openboxes via USB. It works OK. I have switched off IKS. The Spider sees a softcam but not the cfg file. I'm clearly doing something daft! Have tried it on both sticks and renamed it C. Any pointers would be much appreciated.

Thats because your box doesn't recognise the format. cfg You need to make a cnd file.
Have a look at my post here (https://www.satpimps.co.uk/showthread.php?169164-skybox-f5s-to-spiderbox-hd-6000&p=917476&viewfull=1#post917476) ( includes sample file that you can download and just replace the line with your own)

Yes, and just load in as you would under `Software Update`. scroll across to `test.cnd` ... Ok, OK.

You can do it by hand I've never used a usb for putting lines on my spider it just takes seconds longer that's all.

Agreed, I never needed to load the lines using a config file myself and even when my IKS expired and I was updating my server details on a daily basis it was much easier than grabing a stick etc.. Then again if one wants to load the lines using the stick that would be the way. to do it (as above)..

Thanks all. Although I did do a search, when I got pointed to Roadrunner's post it all came flooding back to me! .CND!!! Worked a treat. Thanks again. (For info ..... a line that was slow to zap on a slybox F5 is not slow on the 6000).
