Client wanted it there pole did not seem to be rotten as bolts tightened up

Even though the u bend tube is galvanized and probably sealed against water intrusion at both open ends, have you made an exit hole for condensation in the lower end?
Think the tube should be mounted upside down to eliminate water/condensation problems.
