I hope i am allowed to ask this ?. If I buy another new SpiderBox HD 6000 and put the Mac code from the new box into my old box will that then give me another 12 Months IKS.

OK I understand that, I do not want to use both boxes. The reason is,it is such a pain to change it all over the way I have my old box setup and installed. If I can just use the Mac code from the new box into my old HD 6000 it saves me a lot of hassle.

If you buy new box then you just activate it as you did the old one and this gives you 12 month freebie but you would need to renew the freebie or buy a line for old box if you wish to use both open? The remote would control both boxes so you would not want to have them in same room.

Maybe a built in id chip prohibits this option.

your more than welcome. If you get a new line from IKS you just enter it and it is just like it was before.

You cannot edit and save mac address.
This is due to security reasons.
You can renew IKS or buy and use a new box.
You can save the patch and your options as they are in first box and use it in second.

Yes you could do as you have stated, you would activate the IKS after you have input 1111 which gives you the extra options, then go to Others -> Network -> Register -> Press OK, you should then get Connected and the Expiry Date.

Hi,all.Its been a while since ive posted here been away from the sat scene for some time.Just got my box today i placed my order only yesterday with the sponsors goldwafers.Many thanks to them for a quick delievery.I have fixed dishes via 4 way diseqc switch set at 13,19.2,28.2 and 30w.I hope the spiderbox 6000hd is one of the best boxes outhere to compiment my set up.Reading from other posts on this forum im sure i wont be disapointed.

shiva You will like it mate :) In here (not being a fan of motors) I have 8lnbs over 3 dishes and everything works perfect. (no need to wait for the dish to move)

Thanks Roadrunner.ive had my current setup for over 10 years.its 4 lnbs over 3 dishes been good till date.
Im glad ive made the right choice.Hopefully i will be in good company when asking the questions if i need to.
