Icecrypt s3700chd

Hi to all.

Friend picked up second hand Icecrypt s3700chd and asked me to see if I could do anything with it. Being messing with it for a week and getting nowhere. Manage to crash it and then recover it. I have added numerous plugins which have various cams but cannot seem to get at them to edit. I cannot ftp to the box as i don;t have a password or get to the box via the ip in my browser, just says "HTTP/1.1 404 Not Found Server: Mini Embedded Web Server ......Connection: close Content-Type: text/html"
I can select cams in the plugins and ok them, it says they are running but cannot edit them.

Stumped, any help appreciated.

Hi ernelad, *** ed lad ? (scouser ?).

If you have an 8gb USB Stick knocking around,
why not turn the s3700 into an E2 (Enigma 2) box.

I have an Icecrypt S3550HD box its really an
Octagon SE918G SE+.

First find out what Octagon box the S3700chd is.
Then upload the latest HDMU E2 Image
into the USB stick.
Put it into the USB port on the S3700, press
(Channel down) on box.
You will see Boot then Scan, when you see
Scan you can take your finger off Chan Down.
HDMU will load Image, you can then check the
ULR 198.168.....
You can now upload Catseye latest setting
by FTP into S3700.
Its now an e2 STB, but if you want to revert
back to Freesat on 28e just pull out USB Stick.
Just the same if you want to revert back to
E2 just plug in USB Stick.
Sigh up to hd..med..ia to download image,
that's all one work without full stops.

Hi ernelad,

Your s3700chd needs the Spark7162 Image (USB).

The latest Image is (19 Nov 14 ) ..
.. (HDMU 13275 E2 Spark7162 215 git 35.78mb)
Just upload into 8GB or higher USB Stick.

How can I tell which octagon box it is? If I load new image will it prompt me for a password so I can ftp? I do want an E2 box if possible.

Hi ernelad,

Your box will run Spark7162 enigma2 Image.
No password needed, if it's not for your
box it will just not open (it's on the USB Stick).

You need a password to FTP Channel settings
and clines into ect.
Use Filezilla with (user root) (Password HDMU).
If you don't want an E2 box Don't Bother.

You have been more than helpful. Can't seem to find this image on hdmu site, struggling with translation but will keep looking.
