Icecrypt s1600 no sound out of av connection

Hi all.

New S1600 working ok with new 907 biss keys but no sound out of the av plug.
Tried it with different jacks and earplugs but just get a hiss.
i want to add it as a source to my surround sound system.
Anyone any ideas

Taking the surround sound system out, do you get sound going into your tv?

Yes the hdmi to tv is working ok.
All I get out of the av is a hiss

Just checked on my 1600 on I-907. Video + Audio coming out of the AV jack. Still same when HDMI is connected.
This may be a stupid question, but are you using the AV lead that came with the Icecrypt? (The 4-pin jack plug is slightly different to other ones I have).

Many thanks for your idea, totally correct, there must be a marginal difference in the Icecrypt plugs to other ones as all working now.
Of course chaos ensued yesterday when the keys were changed but thanks to some wizards somewhere all now ok.

Glad to have helped. I have several bits of kit with a 3.5 4-pin jack out - all for Video + 2 audios and all are very slightly different.
If you want full surround sound from a separate surround sound amp (some content from broadcasters send this) you will have to get an adapter box with HDMI in, HDMI + optical/coax audio out to plug into the surround amp.
