is there a list of what channels open via the iks connection that comes free with the 6000hd once patched. cant seem to find any concrete info. if the powers that be dont want to post in open forum then a pm will suffice,regards mdt

I haven't seen any but would have though downloading Blackdevils Motor list over network and opening it in editor would give you the best available list of them.
Save your own beforehand so you can load it back after downloading Blackdevil channel list and saving on to a memory stick

hi all I uploaded the bd moter list to my sb 6000 via network
but there are loads of sats which are checked with a tick, I can see no way of deselecting unwanted sats using sb menu etc.

for some reason doing something wrong got no signal message?

saving moter list to usb and trying the 6000 channel editor. it will not open the file as there are too many channels

so not sure what to do next

highlight the unwanted sat press and hold ok button for few seconds...this should then take the tick out
do that on each sat that you do not require
a satallite can only show a signal if you are actually on that satallite
the built in channel editor on your stb will not see the list...it only shows what satalite you have already scanned in...
e.g...i scan and use 4 satallites...28 east...19east...13east...0.8 west...
i only scan for tv...no radio...this gives me roughly 4600 channels...which by individually deleteing i get down to 2385 channels
that i personally view

or download from files section the channel editor...and delete what you do not require before loading to your spider 6000

Add extension .ssu to file so editor can open it.
