Mine just scrambled as well - also just figured out how to change it - not done before - couldnt figure out how to get alphabet but realised they only seem to use ABCDEF - you can tell I am new!

not got a Icecrypt 1600HD myself

but a quick google tells me

press i button twice then press red button twice

Hi limaredfern,
Pressing i / red may not work with these keys. (+ you have to type in for each channel) follow this...
menu
CA then right key then enter
type in 1407 (this then shows all the different key types)
go to the bottom one (obvious when you see it) and hit enter.
Old keys are shown - type in new ones and don't forget to press enter to save. Go back to channels and all should be de-encrypted.

Yes, well done to the folk who got this working again so quickly. (I'm not immediately concerned as I can get everything via Astra 2 anyway, but still fun to know there's an alternative).
