updating s3200CCIHD

I am visiting my mother in Spain, she has an icecrypt s3200. The person who ususally deals with this is on holiday so I am a complete n00b to this. I have no ethernet connection to the box - the computer is upstairs with internet on a (seperate) satellite connection. It's slow as anything (slower than I remember dial up being!). 2 days ago the channels got scrambled. After (tediously slow) searching I downloaded S3200_1.6.52_27W.abs to a USB and updated. Now all the channels receive no signal. Am I supposed to rescan/search for channels? Do I need to install anything else? I am looking to get the UK channels working for her.

Are we supposed to stay on 1.6.41?
