just got mag 254 no sub with anyone yet but screen comes up stb blocked can any one help please

Try doing a factory reset,if you bought it second hand,it sounds like it may have had a sub but has now ran out

I have also got a MAG 254. Are all providers blocked in the UK? Tried NTV but cannot register because of "location".
