trying to load patch or channel list

Been trying to update with the latest patch and also put a new channel list on but when I download them and try to put them on box via usb I can't see them on the usb.The old patch I put on was a ssu file but the new ones seem to be php .....am I doing something wrong here. thanks in advance for any advice.

already answered dozens of times on the forums here

your IE is not downloading them correctly and so you get .php

use firefox or chrome, OR rename your files after download (to .zip or .rar depending on their original format)

then unpack those downloads to get the .ssu out of them
