Latest Phantom patch 126P 22/12/14

If anyone trying Phantom's latest patch 126P, for both TM5402HD M3 and F3/5 can please post how they find it performs - it will be most appreciated thanks guys and Guyesses!!

Well, as manic01 would truthfully say, HS is a third party option - i.e. not really patch-orientated at all mate!
I've found 126P so far to be best M3 patch of all!

Only just found this - anyway loaded and all working fine, by which I mean that all channels that cleared still clear (some didn't and still don't, would like to see TF1 and France 2 back but I think it's unlikely now).

Signal meter VASTLY more sensible.

Overall seems marginally faster and smoother on channel changes etc but that might be my imagination.

Thanks to those who do the bizz, and to Holmroad for drawing my attention to the new update.

We are talking M2 running 142p here aren't we? HS 1 connects to server with no probs. but HS 2 always gives me a "connection fail" message. Maybe 142p isn't the latest patch for the M2 and I'm late to the party yet again, as usual.:D

There was no mention whatsoever about Technomate TM5402 M2 model ??
That box is now old and highly unlikely it will see any further support by Phantom or Technomate as TM5402 M1 And M2 are quite obviously being phased out ,
but i can confirm 3rd party Hard station 1 and 2 both work fine with latest New Phantom patch 126p for TM5402 M3 HD box .

Humble apologies for hi - jacking the thread! Do you think it's really worth my while forking out £115 for the latest 5402? Is the M3 significantly better than the M2? Is there a comparison thread on here somewhere?

In MY humble opinion the answer to your question is YES mate - but don't believe we have a comparison thread between M1, M2 and M3 on Pimps!
My M3 is great and patch 126P possibly the best yet in every way - but maybe if you really want comparisons you'd be better opening a new thread, in the hope that maybe someone who is more technical, such as manic01 or Digicon, would reply and advise?

HS 1/2 work and IPTV but most channels on IPTV List are almost dead before they even got posted but are being updated quite regular however ,
Thats really the only significant difference plus 100 lines for Biss keys and Youtube which i never use myself anyways
i do believe Tuner in M1/M2 is every bit as good if not better than M3 ..the 117p was best patch for Tuner on M3
especially when manually moving sats you still see signal pulse as you move dish but with most recent patches there is nothing
and signal is in both db and % which i would prefer just in % which i did prefer as it was accurate enuff with patch 117p
also low Symbol rates are hit and miss mostly miss i find .

So its tuff to say M3 Has been out for over a year now which usually means support is phased out as thats what Technomate tend to do with older branded boxes like for instance the M1/M2
thats the only major concern for me but unless there comes available a box capable of 4:2:2 and Multi Stream then i dont really see Technomate TM5402 M3 being laid to rest and i hope that about sums everything up for you ??
i risked buying the M3 just for the extra Lines in Biss menu that was my only reason pretty much and tuner being pretty much the best of any sat box out there currently , i just hope support continues for a little longer in 2015 .

Well as with MOST things TheBadger, it's totally up to you mate, but I still feel its money well spent having personally upgraded from TM6900HD Super to TM5402HD M2 to TM5402HD M3 - all in a six month spell earlier in 2014!
For MY purposes I DO wholeheartedly recommend the M3, but only YOU know how YOU plan to use it - as Barney says HS 1 & 2 are working fine and the 100 Biss lines is very helpful to many of us, as is the 8281 facility which seems much more slick on this latest patch!
Patch 126P is an excellent one, so whilst I do hear what Barney says about the tuner, I personally find this latest patch to provide the best yet in that side of things too!

(Addendum:- also added this seagate1 IPTV file successfully, as well as the xxxxxx Sat Hobby latest version, so well impressed with the M3 IPTV option too!)

Patch 126p is by far better then the fw that I had on my 5402 m3. I just wish they could address the 15-20 second hesitation before a blind scan.

Just treat myself to a 5402 mk 3 and going through initial setup

Loaded the phantom 126p which l understand has the latest softkeys included but unable to get B?sports 1 or 2 on my Sly card inserted. The box acknowledges this Signal is very good

What have l missed????

The 5402M3 only requires the main patched firmware for both the Emulator option CCcam/Newcamd type 8281 into remote control followed by 0000 or as manic stated press IP button followed by either 8281 or 0000 the Biss menu page is entered by typing 8280 into the remote control

Just tried bt non is working. Can pls take me thru the down to uploading onto the receiver. I have tried what manic01 put out there for my pick bt no success with CCcam option. Software on receiver still reads 1.04 (March 5 2014).

When you state 'software 1.04' mate, which patch number are you using too?

You are uploading, you need to download.
Menu-usb-select the patch and press ok.

You are right but I went selecting upload because when I press ok after selecting the patch, nothing at all happens. May I don't down load from the forum correctly.

When you buy your M3 it will have very basic features loaded on it mate, but with the patch added you'll gain access to the availability of many more features with which to obtain satellite channel access, e.g. softcam, cs, IPTV etc!

it will help with encrypted feeds when b*** keys are available but for fta feeds its not needed. if used with a motorised system will give you a great selection of channels via softcam/b*** and lan if needed. regards mdt

Think you should be very careful about what you are asking here mate - suggest you read the Pimps rules in case you cross over into disallowed subjects!
