assuming your router ip address is 192.168.0.1

set your spiderbox to DHCP = OFF

set your spider address to say

192.168.000.101 ( = or use any fixed ip between 2 and 254 , ideally between say 20 and 220)

255.255.255.000 = Subnet mask

192.168.000.001 - Gateway

008.008.008.008 (google public server ,= 1st DNS)

008.008.004.004 (google public server ,= 2nd DNS)

apply it

ensure that each device has its own unique IP address when setting them manually

so if 2 boxes , use 101 for the first , 102 for the second , and so on

to anyone reading this, the above is a guide

you need to write down your own details from your box, with your own router details, take a picture of the screen if necessary, then work out which bits to alter , depending on your router, as they can and do vary

there is no "one size fits all"
