depends which config file you are looking for

try var/etc or usr/keys for starters

if you havent installed it, it wont be there

but you havent said what you have installed, nor have you said what files you are after or looking for

if you want help, give more details

I ask when you say config then which config are you talking about? is it the oscam configs!!! cccam.cfg!!! the gp3 will have neither config, you would need to create them via the ftp and new folder created if its oscam your asking about then you ftp to the dm800se and go to this path, etc/tuxbox in the tuxbox is where you create a new folder and call it config once this is done then chmod the new folder to 755 then open the config folder and add your files that you must have on your pc at a guess, then reboot the stb and all should be fine as far as oscam goes.

If it is the cccam.cfg that your asking about then again you will need to ftp to your dm800se and add your cccam.cfg file to this path, etc.
Once added the file in etc you will need to chmod the file, once done then reboot the stb so it finds all the new added.

you can install it straight off the addons panel in pli. then its a case of editing the softcam.key file or newcamd.list file or whatever. E2 linux boxs require quite a bit of user knowlege and my advice would be to do a great deal of reading the threads then its trial and error. we have all been were you are now and its a great feeling when you figure it out and the channels clear... welcome to linux m8,regards mdt
