Hi from a wet and windy Costa del Sol! I'm trying to install Intelstat 907, I seem to be on the right satellite, signal shows level 90%.... quality 70%, yet when I attempt to single scan (red button) it says no programme found ....or on auto scan message comes up no signal. I've seen no prompts for any codes.
If I go to conditional access I can't input any code ( I believe I should see a pin 1407 at top right hand of screen, but all that appears are the words 'conditional access')
Help!!
Thanks in anticipation

think you need to put some cracked SW on box and then scan for bbc channels, have you added the correct details for sat as they are wrong out of box 11495 V 44100 as a new trasponder then scan mine is fine but have different icecrypt box but i know these work as well, once you have put cracked SW on box then 1407 takes you to the menu where you can enter codes.

hi snowbird I can confirm this works fine in Portugal. Go to icecrypt firmware in this forum and look for coldasice 1600chd you need the 1.6.28 release. Once loaded your 1407 will show the keys.

Look up "Icecrypt S1600C patched firmware" (Thanks to Coldasice for those updates) and install the latest on your box. (There may be a later code to type in - again available elsewhere on the forum - look up "B.I.S.S. KEYS 57east to 30west" (Thanks to mdt for those)
Good luck

Thanks everyone....I've managed to update the firmware and have got as far as installing the current BBC biss codes only to have reached another stumbling block!! Scanning on the coloured buttons all that comes up is no programme?

I am not convinced that your dish is pointed at 27.5w
in other words, how can you guarantee its pointing at 27.5w, and not 30w or 15w etc ?

I'm between Hispasat & Intelsat 905, ie Intelsat 907 @27.5, which gives me a reading of signal Level 97% & Quality 73% ?
Do a channel scan and come back with your results, I agree with echelon it doesnt look like your dish is akigned correctly.
It often happens with 27.5 west.

as above, the proof of the pudding is in the eating, not the picture in the book
do a channel scan and come back with a few channels that you actually DO get, then we can all look at lyng sat or king of sat or fly sat and we will know beyond a shadow of a doubt which sat you are pointed at - ie:- prove it , dont just say it
