Vu+ Duo2 has built it Wi-Fi, connects really easily and works fantastically. Best receiver I've ever had, not cheap though

The principle is the same. Wi-Fi is wi-fi whether it comes from your stationary router or a mobile hotspot.Providing your phone ( and call plan) allows tethering ( and it does since you use it with Spiderbox already) or you are using one of them little MIFI gizmos, you can connect just about anything with wi-fi.I second stevethejack's recommendation, but any other box with wi-fi built in (or with wi-fi adapter) will work too.

There isn't much to choose from in this price range tbh and nothing beats the spiderbox6000 on price/quality in this price bracket, to put it bluntly all other boxes in this price range are cr*p and not worth a second look. If you can't find the 6000 anymore (as it was discontinued) there is some hope that another box from the same makers will hit the shelves soon ( but we are all waiting for some further info on that so don't quote me on that)If you can't wait and are prepared to stretch the budget a bit you could get a technomate5402 M3 for about a 100 something quid and I can honestly say that its an excellent box too. Not sure about the Wi-fi though, you may need to get and additional adapter for wi-fi. I'm sure one of our fellow forumers that own one (there are quite a few here) will chip in and elaborate on the boxes capabilities. I had a TM before and can honestly say that they are very good.Hope somebody will clarify wheter the M3 comes with Wi-fi built in or if you need an adapter ( and if so , which one)

i was trying it off my mobile phone wifi hotspot .the usb port is at the
front with the wifi stick in

spiderbox .that works fine off mobile phone wifi
