if i use a DNS service on a amazon fire tv to watch adons on Kodi ,and im in the uk , will i be able to watch the sites my isp has blocked or would i need a vpn and not a DNS ? sorry if this seems a stupid question , but im sick of my isp blocking sites and want to know how to get round it without it slowing everything down ,. I cant do much with the router as its virgin media superhub and cant install a vpn on it or change dns settings . thanks

You will need to use a VPN or a Proxy server.
A smart DNS can fool the website you are visiting that you are geographically located somewhere else,
but if your isp is blocking you from that website you will never get there.
Your ISP will not block you from going to the VPN or the Proxy server (for now.....?)
