sly zone 2 are 59 cm and yes they will do the job, as would any bigger dishes too

in fact, you may well manage it with a 39cm zone 1 dish , but zone 2 would be better

on an 80cm dish you could have an lnb rack with 13e - (hotbird) , 19e - (astra 1) and 28e - (astra 2) because I do so and am west of you

you can see pictures showing these setups in the sticky threads of the lnb forum and this dish forum too

so even if your dish size wasnt correct (or advertised incorrectly) , it will definitely work for polsat

the 59cm zone 2 sly dish also works fine on 19e , 28e , 39e and 30w as well, as will a bigger 80cm dish which would also work ok for 0.8w

Your better off with either a Fixed Zone 2 as above from @echelon or a fixed standard 60cm as where your based you start to fall under the 52dbw region and the DVB-S2 transponders on 13° east can fall foul to heavy rain and i mean a downpour especially on a Zone1 43cm

So least halfax now knows the score? Polsat at 13E is fantastic reception-wise in UK - plus thought Halifax was in WEST Yorks, but maybe I'm reading too deeply into his Pimps name?

In the analogue days a zone 1 dish was 60cm and a zone 2 was 80cm, so maybe halifax does have a 80cm dish in which case he'll have no probs.

ps. I'm still using my old 80cm sky/amstrad perforated dish as a fixed dish for 28E

I have a fixed 38cm dish for astra hotbird and the weather very rarely knocks it out, polsat booms in.

quite right , as long as the lnb has been changed in the meantime to the more modern universal lnb

god forbid its one of those old analogue ones as I dont think they have the 22khz switching ?

I know you would not get all the modern channels on those old lnb,s anyway

so dish size - agreed if its the older dishes , but incorrect lnb if it was the older dish

my dad had the old one on a tripod to the wall , with the bluecap lnb,s the plastic kept cracking and falling off the cap letting water in :)

sly wanted something like £80 to replace the lnb, extortionate back then

Yes mate, at least you got a whole host of very varying answers, but bottom line is that you should surely now be ok either with YOUR set - or at least know what you DO need?
