View Full Version : Duo2 with 4 tuners and cline
Hi Gents
Just doing some reading before I take the plunge and getting a Duo2 with the 4 DVB-S tuners. Is it possible to configure the tuners to different c lines? A few of the c line suppliers I’ve come across allow their c lines to be used for twin tuners, but I’ve not come across any for 4 tuners.
Many thanks.

moved to the duo 2 forum from the duo forum
thread title amended to show the correct model of receiver too
ie:- AFAIK a duo cannot have 4 tuners and this is about a duo 2 anyway (which can)

You can allocate channels to use a certain cam version, so I suppose you could use some lines on Tuners A + B, using CCcam 230, and maybe Tuners C + D using Oscam, or MGcamD.
First I'd check to see if the 4 tuners do work with a single line.

You cant assign different lines to different tuners its impossible and secondly Emulators such as Cccam etc.. are designed to goto the fastest line first anyway, you could do as Mickha mentioned above with something like blackhole and its autocam feature to have something inn CCcam and Mgcamd or oscam and associate which package opens what, But to be perfectly honest the headache surrounding sorting this out will be a nightmare you would have to SID assign different packges on different lines to only open certain channels.
In other words Nightmare, But good luck to you if you can get it to work

so you want to block providers or channels using cccam
from one line and use those providers in another line ???????
Guys, thanks for you replies.
Hi Ozzsurf
My thought was if I'm using one cline to record a couple of channels while watching another, I may end up getting my subscription cancelled, so if I had a couple of providers, like Gerry55, I'd be able to split the service.
Hi Gerry55
Hope you don't mind if I call on your services to get up and running!
Cheers.
