Hi Very strange. There is about 10 of us with similar systems And I am meant to be the guru. Mine went scrambled along with three other people then the mystery deepened. Other friends weren't scrambled. After that revelation i re powered my receiver and back to normal. The other three did the same thing and all are back operational. This all happened at the same time and my phone rang within minutes of mine going off. So something must have happened to cause that as it is too much of a coincidence. Anyway I am glad it is all working and would be interested if anybody has some thoughts on why?

Many thanks

a long shot - Are the receivers that failed connected permanently to the net?

It's satellite sunout time of the year. It will be in the afternoon on Intelsat 907.

Hi None are connected to the Internet. This happened at about 3.15pm but only affected a small number of people - so sunout might be correct but why not everybody.

Different locations , dish sizes , equipment. They are some sunout calculation sites on the web if you put your information in they will tell you when they are. Bet you it happens again in 6 months.

OK - will have a look. We actually all have the same dish size and manufacturer, same LNB and same receivers. A very consistent profile. I will check out the sunout info.

Read that a UFO was seen recently over Liverpool (via A*L Huffington Post), maybe that influenced things? lol!!
