Using Channel Editor to change/add Satellites

I have not used the channel editor for some time, i think i was using an older version, am i right in saying the newest one is 2.1.1
I would like to add some satellites and delete a couple no longer used, can i still use the channel list i have from the older channel editor and modify satellites with the new channel editor 2.1.1

Its in the PDF Manual included with the editor on the first page.
"Your old 6000HD SSU based channel lists can still be opened and modified as before".
