Just bought a second MyGica ATV 582 Quad Core from Goldwafers today.
These little boxes are simply amazing.
Had my first one for a fortnight, never a single issue. Easy to use and load up also the choice of content is mind blowing.
Now Mag T.V. is exclusively available from the MyGica App. Store to load on to the box. What a bonus this means you can connect to any Stalker IPTV portals that support MAG200/250/254/260 AuraHD boxes.
I rate this box very highly and surely it is the way ahead for the future.
Many Thanks Again Goldwafers.Superb Service.
All the best jamsb.

@EXTRAFACTO,
I am glad you found the MyGica Atv 582 great fun.
I have had my first for a fortnight , yet i have not got anywhere near through the library of programs available on the Kodi side of the box. The content is astonishing, way beyond anything i have ever had or used before.
There is the Android side to set and explore, which i am looking forward to.
Have Fun.

The firmware update for Mygica Atv 582 is dated 31/3/15.
Which is on all boxes sent from Goldwafers.
1. New Android SDK + Kernel from AMLogic
2. Added KODI 14.1 MyGica Edition
3. Added New MyGica Store
4. Removed Nexus Launcher, only MyGica Launcher now. (We found this confused customers big time)
5. Faster Performance and Stability
6. Added DTS Sound Support
7. Updated Internal Video Player Codecs
8. MyGica Setttings Launcher icons are more legible
9. Updated Ethernet Performance. Full Speed now
10. Updated Wifi Performance. (Will be more changes to this in next update to follow)
11. Added Mag TV - Mag 250/254 Emulator Support
12. Added feature where you hold down 3 lined context menu button and it will kill all open apps
13. Added Google TV Remote Support
14. Added KR301 Remote Support
15. Added KR40 Remote Support
Yes the version of Kodi is 14.1 with a new firmware update moving to 14.2 soon.
The Kodi version is the Mygica Edition and works very well.
The Logitech K 400 Wireless Keyboard with Touchpad works very well also.

EXTRAFACTO,
Are the files on your sd card showing up in local?
If so click on the file you want to add.
If you are not seeing the files when you click local something is not right.
The only time sd card should be used is for firmware update or storage.
I use usb for addons which shows up in the directory as sda1.
Let us know how you get on.

Have been trying to find out the difference between the 1800 & 582 +
which is the newest. Still not found out yet. One difference may be
dual WiFi input.
Seems the firmware is latest on box.
The 1800 makes no reference to extra audio outputs.
The only info regarding the audio via the MyGica Forum was...
Ref XBMC not Kodi, Audio, advanced settings to set up audio & find the pass through setting.

just a quick update
i have thrown everything i can find at this box...ie youtube video demo of what to install for kodi
and have to say...everything works fine...
had this box since last thursday...and only yesterday started to actually watch stuff
to busy checking out all addons i installed...
now i have reset the box and put back what i liked
have to say...best thing i have purchased for some time...for content
i read yesterday (you tube video)that some people when they do a factory reset get a message pop up..
it says...you are running kodi 14.1 stable...14.2 stable kodi is available from kodi site
if you get this message...do not click ok...press back button...and it will dissapear
people are saying they pressed ok and nothing happened...others are saying...their box kept rebooting
this does not just apply to mygica boxs...all boxs
i saw this on a video on youtube ..on what to install on kodi...windows ..android etc
anyway...i reset and did not get this popup
anyway...brilliant box

@EXTRAFACTO Number of good points made and should be noted by users.
Also MyGica has its own version of MyGica Kodi which is 14.1 currently, with last and current firmware of 31/3/15.
Next firmware update will contain Kodi.14.2 from what i read.
All the best. jamsb
IF YOU ARE STILL TALKING ABOUT THESE BOXS FROM OUR SPONSER YOUVE NOT RED ALL THERE WRITE UP ABOUT THERE BOXS AS THE LAST PARAGRAF READS
Warning:
The Android OS version on this device cannot be upgraded or flashed and any attempts to modify the default OS will void the warranty.

@ aba...i think that applys to update from kodi site...14.2
but has jamsb correctly states...mygica kodi will have its own update..specially written for mygica box...hence the 14.2 upgrade
when it becomes available...this will be the offical kodi upgrade..just for mygica box...created by mygica developers
this when its ready...will be the upgrade to do...if you should wish
the update of 14.2 kodi from kodi site...is NOT for mygica box

frankly , I suspect you can either use the official kodi (or previous xbmc gotham 13 or frodo 12, or TVMC 13.2 gotham) on this box, although its probably best to stick to the official kodi 14.1 or soon to be kodi 14.2 for mygica, in other words ideally use the official kodi for this box and not the others
the official warning refers to the operating system which is the firmware that runs this box and is based on a custom firmware of kitkat 4.4.2 I believe , which is pre-installed and should not be overwritten with any other firmwares for similar boxes, or even homebrew versions of this mygica firmware
the operating system is like windows or apple use, nothing to do with apps like kodi (or iplayer or any other app)
do not confuse the 2 items, one is an embedded installed operating system (like win7 or win8 on a laptop) , the other is a specialized app (like a program in windows, such as dreamboxedit or firefox)
so when quoting statements, at least read the meanings of them
The Android OS version on this device cannot be upgraded or flashed
OS means Operating System , nothing to do with kodi (or xbmc)

I got a MyGica atv582 on Thursday from Lee. Although I'm used to installing XBMC / Kodi paid the extra to have the full content & it was
worth it.
It would be worth checking about Kodi version. Lee did say something was
special to MyGica, but can't remember if it was Kodi version. He also said
the 1800 had audio output, but I didn't see it in the specifications.
Just got it up & running Thursday afternoon. Seems satisfactory though
not had time to fully run it. Also need to spend some time reading about
the unit.
Have been wasting time upgrading ATV2s to Kodi 14.2, but they are past their sell by date.
Regards catoro.

On MyGica 582 the firmware of 31/3/15 the upgrade replaced xmbc with kodi 14.1.
I suspect any form of kodi could be run on the MyGica 582.
For me i will stay with the branded written form of kodi for the MyGica for now till the next upgrade.
All the best jamsb.
