2 hard drives recording

Is it possible to record on 2 had. External 1 plugged in the back 1 in the front or can I pick witch to to use if so how do I do it thanks

Set 1 HD as media/hdd and set the second one as media/hdd1

You will probably have to change the Recording default locations as well
