amiko alien 2

hello everyone I have a amiko alien 2 not sure what image its running but I have been recording my programmes on the other channels and when I try to playback my films from the HDD they judder really bad and I cant watch them does anyone know what I can do to fix this as its really annoying thank you everyone

Have had this problem on Alien 1 when using USB memory sticks which were too slow for the data stream but not had this when using a HDD.

Boot up into the Spark image (dead easy, just find a tutorial) and go to:

Menu

System

PVR/HDD setting

USB speed testing.

You will see a graphical representation of the speeds required for SD and HD on the left and the read and write results from your disk on the right.
