Re-image problems

Hi Guys,

Having problems trying to put a new image on my solo2, I've had VTi 8.2 image on it for about two weeks but it kept crashing so decided to try and put back VIX image that it came with, tried to re-flash it several times with different Vix images but it still comes up with original Vti image, and now has error messages: timer.xml is corrupt, Hdd is not mounted (tried to re-mount this but it will not)

Is there any to reset/wipe these boxes and then put on a fresh image?

Would really like some advice on this as don't want to end up with a brick??

have you tried a diffren usb stick formatted in fat 32

and disconnect the hdd whilst trying to reflash it from the front usb port too

Thx DCG/echelon for replying, I've tried 2 different sticks both formatted (not quick format) but still no joy, I ve taken the hdd out and reformatted it and put it back in so now trying a factory reset to see what happens, will let you know

and,...I did the same, and it wouldn't work because I had left my USB in the "rear" that I use for epg/picons etc.
Yes, I was that numpty.

I have found it is best to disconnect everything before re-flash and just to see if it works- try the latest blackhole. ( and respectfully is it an original box) Dark cloud i too have been that numpty.
