Do ineed to reformat usb.

I am using usb stick for blackhole universe.Do i need to reformat usb after flashing new blackhole image. If so i will lose all data on usb. Should i save personal back up to HDD?

No, it will be fine but still, Always make a copy elsewhere

Thanks for quick reply. I went for it last night , upgraded from b/hole 2.1.3 to 2.16.I had saved personal backup on HDD but after reflash backup was not found. Message said backup was not found due to structural changes in new image. No big deal however as i had to refresh my memory on how to start from scratch.Enjoyed the experience.
