picon usage ?

sorry to ask such a silly question but i cant find a sticky on how to use these picons . sorry for got to mention i have a spiderbox 6000HD

check the forum for your box

ideally, have a usb stick in your box in a rear usb socket , formatted by the box

make a folder called picon on the stick

copy and paste any or all the picon picture files into that folder, so the box can use them

they are not for a spiderbox 6000 , which is why they were posted in the VU box forums here

you cannot use picons on a spiderbox

my bad i just follwed the threat in the spiderbox section about missing movie channels .

i tried the man scan and it finds them but it wont let me save them .

check you dont have too many channels or too many transponders on your box

delete the old unused rubbish first and save

then check the total tv channels, check the total radio channels, add the 2 figures together , cannot exceed 6000 , try to keep it below 5000 or 5500

you cannot add more beer to a pint pot full of beer until you sup some or pour some away (heaven forbid)
