Hi guys, been searching through the forums but can't quite find the answer I need.
I have a magic eye bog standard one
I purchased of the net, I used it on my sky box and had to activate it with the rf output, tonight I have connected it to my spiderbox hd600 does anyone know how to activate the magic eye in order to get signal to it
I have read infrared booster or a better tv link up plus kit ?
Has anyone been successful in this ??

this topic has been discussed on here many times over in the last few years

here are some basics
does the magic eye work with any box except the slybox ? = NO it does not
so it only works "as is" with the official slybox ? = yes it does
can I use it with another box = NO
are there special adapters that can be used with it ? = YES
what are they ? - global omnilink (think its called, or smart delta blue blaster) , or anything deemed similar like the link up plus
Omni Link Pack Satellite and Freeview TV Remote Control Extender
or
Bluedelta Smart Blaster Remote Control Extension for Satellite
or
TRIAX TRI-LINK Kit Control Sky, Freesat, Freeview around the home
connect the blaster type adapter near the box with transmitter sensors pointed at the front of the box
connect it by coaxial cable to the magic eye in a remote location
operate the magic eye which in turn operates the adapter which sends signals to the box
other options include video senders
