VU + Duo

Hi

I have just loaded BH 2.17

I seam to have lost about 200 channels

For example on Astra 28 east the only SKY I have load are all the HD channels no other Sky channels

On Astra 19 it is the same

On Hotbird I am about 1000 channels down

Can't load Thor can't find any channels

Nor Hotbird

I did change the motor

But I did get a sat man in to set up the dish

Dos it look like the VU Duo is ready for the dustbin. ???

why not load cats eyes setting insted

a duo is dependent on the files you have loaded in, same as any box, so maybe the files you have on the box are not up to date and dont have all the latest transponders in them , especially due to all the recent changes as transponders move to astra 2g for example , so could be a satellites.xml file issue ?

I doubt that its a fault on the box itself

nor do I believe its ready for the dustbin either

as DCG says, load the latest catseyes file in , preferably using dreamset v2.44 set to enigma 2 version 4 (http reload)

if you owned a bentley, and put cr*p petrol in it, its still a good quality car, but may run like an old nag , so blame the petrol supplier, not Bentley Motors
