acquired on of these of a mate who bought it but couldnt get used to it as its not a sly box ,,so i had it off him ,,and am very suprised cracking little reciever running latest patched vix image and the blue HD sly lookalikey skin to keep the mrs happy ,using a wireless dongle and mgcamd works across my LAN no problem, quick through the menus and zapping picons ect very nice,,,, not as smooth as my solo 2 or as quick at zapping and scolling obviously but for the money they are well worth it for a 2nd box ,gold wafers have got the twin tuner version great value IMO , https://www.goldwafers.co.uk/Zgemma-Star-2S-Full-HD-DVB-S2-Twin-Satellite-Tuner-Linux-PVR-Ready.html

I'd second (well third actually) the above. But it does seem that non-techy people are tempted by the price then get stuck with setting them up. It does need someone who is linux savvy or is, at least, familiar with Dream software.

Like Simon, I have one from a m8, and find it is really good for the price. I haven't put a USB stick in yet, so haven't recorded anything, but that is the next phase.

I'm hoping he won't want it back :D
