There is a plugin called Fixit_v9 Media player somewhere in the ICECRYPT section which will `condition`the video files to
play on a PC and other devices.
I have a copy but no idea how to upload it.

I have a copy but no idea how to upload it.

depending on the size , zip it or rar it (try 7zip if unsure)

use advanced edit and manage attachments and add the file and it will upload, when finished add comments and click the finish button (or reply button) to lock in the actual reply

the original file is here

nope, no idea on your box, or if it can be done at all

but if you read the thread I linked you to for the file, it says in the last post that you can use GOM Player to playback the unmodified files on your pc

have you tried it ?

or VLC ?

or any other media player apart from the microsoft player ?

also make sure you have a codec pack installed on your pc, like KLITE

If using the Icecrypt 1600, the files are recorded via the USB as a transport stream. When encrypted signal is recorded, then the only way to play it back is via a box with a de-crypter in it. (ie - the Icecrypt 1600 that you recorded it on)
Un-encrypted files play fine on most PCs.
