Genesis download manager

As most of you will know the latest version of genesis has a rather anoying download manager that is hitty missy at best and only lets you pull one stream down at a time.

Whats worse is the developer intends to remove the download ability all together in the next update.

This leaves 2 questions.

Does anyone know how to remove the 2 streams limitation.

Or

Is there a better way to be downloading the streams as i much prefer to have them on a local server so i can copy some stuff to other devices when streaming is not possible.

Yeah.

Thought of that but thats a huge work around.
Is there not an addon that can just recognise what your playing and save to a location?

Not good news about Genesis Zad, glad I read your post, think I will block
updates for the time being. Like you I only ever dl files, downside is if
you copy a streaming file you risk the loading problems of a bad server.

We have started watching TV series & now with Icefilms I find there is
episodes missing. It's getting very limited on apps you can dl from now.
Staal is another one that you can no longer dl from.

I use a dedicated PC for dls so time isn't important, do sometime stack files
but..only dl one at a time.

I have been looking at an app called "Audials Moviebox". If I can no longer
dl from Kodi am considering something like Netflix & the above app. Don't
know if it will work with Kodi.

Now that Genesis and Icefilms are both missing the download facility I am using Phoenix which, up to now, still has it. Hope it stays that way.
